That's a great question. I actually think the movie gets much more interesting once Igor shows up. As a hired body working for this Russian family, he has an organic connection to the position Ani is in, and Yura Borisov is impossible not to watch. I found myself wondering if the whole film had been about Ani and Igor instead of Ani and Ivan, perhaps this would have been a more compelling story.
